Good question! SEO stands for search engine optimisation. It’s the way websites are built and written to help them rank higher in search engines like google. There are three ways a website can climb the search engine rankings.
- Structure – it’s important that your website is built well. It should load quickly and be optimised for mobiles.
- Backlinks – this is when other sites link to your site. If you have lots of reputable sites linking to your site then Google assumes you are also a trustworthy site.
- SEO Copywriting – this is the way the content on your site is written so it appeals to both your customers and to search engines. This is the bit I do!

SEO Copywriting is a way of writing that helps your site appeal to both people and google. How do I do this?
- I use keyword research to determine which keywords people are searching for in relation to your business.
- I choose the most appropriate keywords then I weave these keywords throughout your site
- I write captivating title tags and meta descriptions that get people clicking through from google
- I write easy to read, jargon-free content on your site to keep people engaged
- I provide the content in a simple copy deck with all the information you or your web developer need.
- I can also work with you to improve your site structure and make recommendations on how it could flow better
